Intense three days about aesthetic dentistry and all related to it. From patient analysis to final delivery and complications.

Course topic

Prepare dental professionals how to deal with restorations on teeth in aesthetic area and full mouth rehabilitation on teeth.

Course objectives

• Patient analysis and control of the expectations are one of the most important steps. What information a dentist needs to ensure that treatment process is smooth and clear.
• Centric relation: when, how and why? Issues with the headline and facebow.
• Wax up and mock up. How to make the most of it? Communication with a dental technician to get the expected result.
• Teeth preparation and bite registration. How to make sure we focus and follow the plan confirmed with the mock up.
• Temporary restorations. Is it possible they stay in place for the whole treatment? What are the most esthetical materials for the temporary stage.
• Impressions: methods, techniques and materials.
• Materials for veneers and full crowns. Lithium disilicate, zirconia oxide and feldspathic ceramics. Advantages and disadvantages. How to select and choose?
• Cementation vs adhesion, protocols and procedures: step by step.

Hands-on part

• Tooth preparation for a minimally invasive veneer
• Tooth preparation for a veneer (changing shape and color)
• Direct temporaries on teeth
